Violence Prevention is constant evolving to meet the ever-changing community need. Reading Out Loud Literacy recognizes the peripheral challenges that come from America's silent illiteracy crisis including poverty, mental illness, and yes, gun violence. By providing access to safe spaces for literacy, Reading Out Loud Literacy lounges and resource hubs are changing the way the community fellowships, builds, and learns. We all know that knowledge is power but what happens when you feel powerless?
