38th Street Thrive: Cultural District?

Sure, 'the culture' has come to mean the cumulative mass of assimilated languages, dialects, beliefs, and artistic expression of African America. While this is true, there are still many of us (black folk) that don't ascribe to what is unique African in the diaspora. So what exactly does it mean to 'do it for the culture' and why does Minneapolis think it'll be okay to transmute the myrtardom of Mr. George Floyd, an unarmed black man that was brutally murdered by ex-cop and current tool of white supremacy, Derek Chauvin. None of my business. I'm just a black woman trying to make it. You can read all about what I'm talking about here if you have the time or the notion.
